Featured in the episode: Janine Wieland, head chef of our Brasserie Leonis.<\/p>\n<p>Janine grew up around the kitchen &#8211; her father was a chef, and her mother Annette was Austria&#8217;s youngest mountain-hut innkeeper. She helped out in the kitchen as a child and found her passion for cooking early on. Her path led her into fine dining, and by age 24 her work had already earned a toque. Today, as head chef of Brasserie Leonis, she shapes a kitchen built on creativity, craft, and the best ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>For the ORF episode, she turns to her great passion: pastry.
